Deluxe Bunk Beds
Paul Bunyan
standard twin/twin bunk beds starting at $429 (stained)
The Paul Bunyan line is one of our best beds made almost entirely out of 1½" × 5½" stock. Its standard height is 68” tall (our most popular height), but it can be made to any height up to 73”. The 68" standard height is taller than either of our economy models plus it splits the head room for both top and bottom bunk occupants evenly in a room with normal ceiling height of 8 feet. It also makes sitting on the bottom bunk easier.
Paul Bunyan beds have six "ladder" rails on each of the sides, making it easy to climb as children get bigger. Paul Bunyan bed models include the tapered top rail at no extra charge. You can also add the cut out option if you like, and a trundle or drawers. This model comes with a 7-year guarantee. If any board cracks due to a defect in the wood, we'll supply a replacement. Shown here is a Paul Bunyan in Honey Maple (our most popular stain) with the optional drawers under the bottom bunk.

Royal
standard twin/twin bunk beds starting at $489 (stained)
Our Royal line is similar to the Paul Bunyan, except we use more ladder rails on the sides to give the bed a different look. More rails also makes it slightly easier for young children (under 5 years) to climb up the sides. The Royal uses 1½" × 3½" Pine wood stock for the ladder rails. It’s standard height is 68” tall, but can also be raised to any height up to 73”.
Royal models include the tapered top rail at no extra charge. You can also add the cut out option if you like, and a trundle or drawers. This model comes with a 7-year guarantee. If any board cracks due to a defect in the wood, we'll supply a replacement. Shown here is a sanded and stained Royal with the optional drawers under the bottom bunk.

Economy Bunk Beds
Viking
standard twin/twin bunk beds starting at $269 (unstained)
The Viking line is made of 1½" × 3½" pine wood stock except for the bed posts which are made from heftier 1½" × 5½" pine. This bed comes at a standard height of 63½” tall and can be ordered to a height of 68”. It also can be ordered sanded and stained or just lightly sanded with the wood left its natural color.
This model cannot take the cut out or extra long options to this model, but you can add a trundle or drawers. This model comes with a 2-year guarantee. If any board cracks due to a defect in the wood, we'll supply a replacement. Pictured here is a Honey Maple stained Viking bed with the Trundle bed and tapered top rail options.

Other Models
Single Bed
Any of our bunk bed models can also be made as a single bed. Single beds start at $89. Pictured here is the Paul Bunyan Plus model single bed, which sells for $149 as shown.
Notice that these beds are made to take a standard twin box spring and mattress set.
Captains Bed
A Captains Bed can be made by combining a single bed with a set of drawers. Prices for Captains Beds consist of the cost of the single bed model of your choice plus the additional cost for the set of drawers for that bed.
Trundle Bed
Our Trundle bed option provides a slide-out mattress for any of our standard bunk or single beds. Here, the Viking model is shown with the trundle pulled out. Our trundles take a standard twin size mattress which actually saves you money. Regular trundle mattresses (which are slightly smaller than a twin) aren't as common, and can cost up to 50% more than twin mattresses.
The price for a Trundle depends on which model bed you are adding it too, but they start at around $110. You can always contact us for specific details and pricing.
At left is shown a trundle on a Viking single bed stained in Honey Maple.
Example of a "Twin over Full" Bed
Either of our deluxe model bunk beds can be made to fit a full mattress on the bottom. While the top bunk is still rated to hold 400 pounds, the bottom bunk can actually hold up to 2-3 times that weight.
The picture shown here is of a Royal model bed in the twin/full configuration, but we can make the full/twin in either of our Paul Bunyan or Royal models (we need the wider boards of those models to build the full bed on the bottom). The Paul Bunyan twin/full is $519 (stained any color), and the Royal is $579 (stained any color). We also offer storage drawers to fit under the full mattress in either regular size (40" front to back), or extra-deep size (54" front to back -- over 40% of extra storage space). Pricing for the drawers is listed on the options page.
